The Difference Between an EOS® Integrator and EOS® Implementor
The Difference Between EOS® Integrator and EOS® Implementer
When I introduce myself as an EOS Integrator, I’m often met with puzzled looks. “What is an EOS Integrator? EOS®, Entrepreneurial Operating System, “is a comprehensive business system, integrating a holistic business model with a complete set of simple business tools proven business process to align and synchronize all the pieces of your business to produce the results you want.” EOS is populated with Visionaries, Implementers and Integrators.
The Visionary, typically the business owner, the person with all the ideas of what they want to do with the business. They have the vision, the great product or service that will make their business profitable. The Visionary works with both the Implementer and the Integrator.
The Implementer is the coach for the Visionary. The Implementer coaches, facilitates and teaches the Visionary and the leadership team how to get more from their business. The Implementer works with the Visionary and Leadership Team to develop the plan or vision on how the business will be successful for the next 5-10 years, and beyond, as well as introducing the EOS tools. One thing the Implementer does not do is execute the plan or vision that is developed from this process.
In steps the Integrator, who assists the Visionary to execute the plan or vision. Seamlessly taking over from the Implementer, the Integrator works to build the business to the next level. The Integrator orchestrates the business functions, develops clear communications, stabilizes the work flow and ensures accountability at all levels of the business. Integrators free the Visionary from the day-to-day operations challenges, allowing them to focus on the strategic initiatives and relationships. Integrators may also be called COO or general manager. Integrators rank high in operations skills, marketing/sales and finance acumen and possess knowledge in how a business ticks.
